About Red Bridge Farm Feed Co.

Premium, Non-GMO, Soy & Corn-Free Livestock Feed

Let’s Build a Healthier World Together

Here’s where we stand. What you feed your animals matters. Not just for their health, but for the quality of food they provide.

If you share that belief, you’re in the right place. Red Bridge Farm Feed Co. is a feed mill that prioritizes freshness, transparency, and nutrition above all else.

At the end of the day, we built Red Bridge because it was so hard to find those three things. We’ve raised livestock. We run our own local feed store. We work hard to provide healthy food for our kids, and we try to do our part to make the world a healthier place.

This isn't just our business. It's a calling, and one we find we share with our customers. Red Bridge Farm Feed Co. is your partner in doing the best thing for your animals and the families who count on them, every time.

What Makes Red Bridge Different

Red Bridge Farm Feed Co. is a family and veteran-owned business based in Kettle Falls, Washington, where we craft small-batch, premium-quality feed. Here’s how we do it.

Freshness First

From the moment livestock feed is milled, a clock starts ticking on its nutritional quality. Then, it sits in warehouses and distribution centers for months while its potency fades. Instead, Red Bridge feed is milled fresh 3-4 days before it ships to your farm, feed store, or co-op.

Uncompromising Quality

Every bag you receive is guaranteed non-GMO, soy-free, and corn-free. Always. And our formulations never change based on market prices. Your animals get the same quality of ingredients - every single time.

Local & Sustainable

Our ingredients are sourced from our neighbors in Stevens County, Washington, and your purchase supports local growers and sustainable farming practices. When you buy from Red Bridge Farm, you're not just getting premium feed—you're supporting a network of farmers committed to doing things the right way.

True Partnership

We don't just ship feed and disappear. Whether you're a farmer or a retail store, we're here to support you. You’ll have direct access to our team and regular check-ins from them as well. We treat your operation like it's our own—because at the end of the day, we're all in this together.

Why We Do This

Farmers, homesteaders, and hobbyists all face an impossible choice: compromise on feed quality or pay prices that make raising animals unsustainable. Industrial feed is cheap, but it's filled with GMO fillers, corn, soy, and vague byproducts. Meanwhile, premium organic feed is priced out of reach and doesn’t always offer nutritional value that exceeds less expensive brands.

We built Red Bridge Farm to offer a third option—uncompromising nutrition at prices that make sense.

Our Story

Red Bridge Farm Feed Co.'s story begins far from the fields of Washington—in Iraq, during Brad Murphy's second tour with the Army.

While deployed, Brad found himself drawn to agriculture. His grandparents had a small goat farm in California, and Brad had always loved being there. During his deployment, he read everything he could about farming.

When his tour ended, Brad nearly left the Army to become a goat rancher, but he felt called to stay in the military a bit longer. It's a good thing he did—because that's when he met his wife, Bekah!

After visiting Brad's grandmother's farm together, Bekah fell in love with the idea of farming. On the drive home, they started dreaming out loud, and that dream became the foundation for Red Bridge Farm.

As Brad transitioned from Active service in the Army to the Reserve force, they felt a calling to move to Washington State and start farming. Instead of goats, they began with pastured poultry—raising chickens on pasture with the highest standards of care.

In 2016, when they couldn't find feed that met their standards, Brad started developing his own feed formulations. He partnered with Jeff Mattocks, a nationally-recognized animal nutritionist who had formulated feed for Joel Salatin, the “Grandfather of Pastured Poultry.”

The results were remarkable. Other farmers started asking where he got his feed. Before long, Red Bridge Farm evolved from a poultry operation into a feed mill—one built on the belief that premium nutrition shouldn't be a luxury.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. But through it all, Brad and Bekah have felt God's direction guiding them forward.

"This is not our business. We're just the stewards of it," Brad says. "Our faith directs how we act, how we operate, and how we look at the quality of our feed. We want to feed everyone else's animals the same way we would feed our own family."

Here's how it all began! Our quest to create the perfect feed began in 2016 with an old tractor and grinder/mixer from the 60's and a bucket. Today, the mill is filled with modern equipment and a team who cares about quality as much as we do!

Meet the Founders

Brad & Bekah Murphy

Founders, Red Bridge Farm

Brad and Bekah Murphy founded Red Bridge Farm in 2014 by combining Brad’s 20+ years as an Army veteran and hands-on farming experience with Bekah's scientific background as a college professor of Clinical Anatomy and Physiology.

Their journey into feed milling began out of necessity. As they raised pasture-raised hens and broilers, they couldn't find feed that met their standards for quality and nutrition. So in 2016, they decided to create it themselves. Brad's practical knowledge from raising thousands of birds combined with Bekah's deep understanding of nutrition and health became the foundation for developing feed formulations that truly make a difference.

Today, Brad operates the mill with a commitment to sustainable farming and supporting local farms. His experience gives him unique insight into what other farmers actually need—and he uses that knowledge to partner with them in raising strong, healthy animals throughout Washington State.

Bekah's scientific expertise ensures that every formulation meets the highest nutritional standards, going far beyond USDA requirements to support animal well-being and food quality. Her passion for superior nutrition is the driving force behind Red Bridge's uncompromising commitment to freshness, targeted animal-specific rations, and transparent ingredient sourcing.

Together, they've built more than a feed mill—they've created a partnership with farmers who share their values of quality, health, and community.
